I can't believe the summer is almost over. It seems like yesterday that I was dreaming of the pools opening, beach trips, and BBQ's. As much as I love the fall weather, I can't help but want to hold onto those last notes of summer and spend as much time outside as possible. I'd heard about the famous "watermelon house" in my neighborhood, so I decided to check it out myself since I'd seen it in so many pictures online. I love seeing the vibrant artwork all over the city in DC. It gives the city character and life.
Since temperatures still feel as hot as ever, I wore this lightweight J.Crew men's short sleeve shirt which I think, in general guys should wear more of in the summer as you can wear it with a linen tie or blazer for the office. I threw on my favorite pair or Rag & Bone denim, paired with this fresh new pair of Lacoste sneakers. I wanted to keep my accessories easy and simple so, I threw on this chain band watch from Tommy Hilfiger. I'm still pretty much obsessed with these mirrored Ray-Ban sunglasses which protect me from those powerful UV rays!
Remember to keep it light and easy for the summer. You can never have enough short-sleeve shirts to pair with a some denim which are great for weekend trips and getaways.
