Why I’ve Been So Active on LinkedIn — And Why You Should Be Too

https://wwwIf you’ve noticed me popping up more often on your LinkedIn feed lately, it’s no accident. As a Latinx LGBTQIA+ creative navigating the fast-paced world of content creation, brand partnerships, and digital marketing — being active on LinkedIn has become one of my most powerful tools for growth.

We usually think of LinkedIn as the “corporate” platform, but let me be the first to tell you: creatives belong here, too. More than ever, brands and agencies are looking beyond the traditional resume. They want to see your story, your voice, and how you show up in the world — and LinkedIn gives you the stage to do just that.

Here’s why I’ve leaned into LinkedIn:

  • 🔍 Visibility: I’ve landed freelance gigs, podcast guest spots, and press features — all because I showed up consistently.

  • 💬 Connection: I’ve met fellow creatives, marketers, and founders who are building game-changing things. The conversations here go deeper than just likes.

  • 🎯 Credibility: Sharing my work, wins, and even the lessons I’ve learned in real-time helps position me as a trusted voice in my space.

If you’re a creative, influencer, artist, or entrepreneur — your presence on LinkedIn is part of your portfolio. People want to know what you’re up to, what you care about, and how they can collaborate with you.

So yes, you’ll keep seeing me on your feed — sharing projects, celebrating milestones, and showing you what’s possible when you bring your full self to the table.

👉🏽 Connect with me on LinkedIn and say hey — I’d love to support your journey, too.
